Thanks for checking in here at FSND.. The Important thing to mention first.. is that the Saab 340 is an FSX SP2 Only model. It uses high-resolution (2048X2048) textures, and will not render properly on FSX installations that are not up to SP2. Also.. older, or low-end video cards will have rendering issues. The most common of which are the semi-transparent fuselage.

Hi Brett
I think this may pertain.
to get this repaint to display at its optimum the line
[GRAPHICS]
TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=1024
in your FSX.CFG file must be changed to at least
TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD=2048
This will stop FSX compressing the textures down to its default 1024 setting,it is also important to note that this value is reset to 1024 everytime you make a change to any of FSX's graphic setting so if this repaint starts to look a little blurry insim check that this line hasnt been reset to its default 1024
The FSX.CFG File is located in the users application data path:
WinXP
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\FSX
Vista
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

Hi and a happy New Year to all; Brett what a nice aircraft! I wonder the above, will it affect other FSX aircaft displays as well? I just downloaded, so I am only trying, I noticed that the engine intakes if you view them from the v/c by going outside, Ctrl+Shift+ return and them panning backwards are transparent; It's just a minor detail, thought I would bring it up; Not a complaint And is there anyway of adding landing lights to it; I noticed too the landing lights are not included in the [lights] section in the aircraft.cfg? The lights do appear on the main struts, but they don't shine on the ground, like on your other models? Rob very interesting point.
