Hi, I downloaded the VC and ran the installation app and it installed the VC in the default 738 (where it looks great, thanks) but how do I add it in to other 738s I've downloaded for eg. 738ryaiv.zip?
In another forum, someone said just copy the panel folder from the default 738 into the 3rd party but that didn't work.
BTW, I downloaded my FSX from Steam so it's not in the usual place (Program Files (x86)>Microsoft Games). I don't know if that makes a difference.
Sorry if this is a really dumb question but thanks in advance!

I didn't make this mdl cockpit to be instaled in any other airplane ,however it can be done by taking aware of something Ill mention some as I can rememeber or the ones with priiority
in the case if is my Upgraded FSX 737-800 cockpit to improve the default FSX 737
1) It has to be a original Modeldef.xml compilation this mean has to be and airplane compiled or created by using FSX-SDK SP2 not a makemdl9 from fs2004 it will not work how do you guess that? simple ,most of FSX compilation comes in two files inside the model folder in the case of the default FSX 737 the files are these ones
B737_800_interior.mdl B737_800.mdl model.cfg
while FS9 models interior(cockpit) and exterior and in ONE sngle mdl file
2) the names has to be the same so if you are planing to isntaled in a another model you would need to rename the file acording of how you see in the green example i gave you above ,in other words If Mr Bean made a 737 model and name the exterior view like Bean737-950.MDL you would has to rename to B737_800.mdl
3) the cockpit position in the aircraft has to be properly set ,(in rarely occasions it will mach) but in aircraft.cfg there is this line
[Views] eyepoint = 48.2, -1.55, 1.9 //(feet) longitudinal, lateral, vertical distance from reference datum wich has to be set to mach a pilot's view properly
4) the textures has to be add it to what ever model this is ,(my improve cokpit has his own files otherwise thing becomes transparent
5) and the most important! I assume you want to do this for ONLY your personal use and NOT to reupload or redistribuite on internet the modelS of someone else which would be MY cockpit and someone elses exterior view model ,this is a delicate mater which has to be with copyrights etc ,there are rules which I dont think I need to explain to you ,
hope it helps

Thanks Alejandro. That sounds a bit technical for me but I may give it go some time.
