Has anyone tried the VC upgrade with the new TDS 738 fsx models?
For some reason the FMC's in the VC refuse to appear. Rest of the VC upgrade seems to work. I have tried it against the older POSKY 737-800 fsx model and the FMC appears. Ditto with the TDS 737-700 fsx models - all fine.
Did some A-B testing and isolated it to changing to the FSX TDS exterior model itself - changing air files, air.cfg's, gauge entries etc were not the cause of the FMC's to disappear.
Can't understand why an external model would do this, as the vc FMC's should be (?) mapped to the same (or upgraded) interior model and textures based on the default FSX 738. Very confused . .

What's the size of your interior model file?

SOLVED!!
I checked the interior model in my 737-700 - this does display the FMC in the VC correctly - and noted it was a different size, so swapped it into the 738 folder. Now I could also see blank spaces "reserved" for the working FMC in the VC, so something was partly corrected. I then found that I had an older or different FMC gauge entry in the panel.cfg. Matched it to the same one in the 737-700 and presto! it now is all working.
