Hi Alejandro i wrote u already a mail, now i found this forum... first i have to say "thank you" for this perfect Freeware Addon!! I love it, you did a great job. This will be the first Freeware i donate for... But i have some Questions: First: When i try to change the Weight and Fuel of the Plane i can see the Point of Gravity is always in the front of the plane, no matter what i do. Is that normal? (Same issue with the MD83) Second: When i use the FMC VNAV Profile i always exceed the Vne of the plane. In default the FMC calculates a speed of 494 Knots... thats way to much. Can i change that somehow? Third: When i use EZdok the whole plane starts to shake at about 300 knots... So long, thats all...please excuse my bad english. Its not my native language.
I been thinking about what to tell you the Point of gravity or center gravity Must be like the same as default FSX 737-800 ,I use the same schemes of this airplane, I made a lot of changes ,obviously like the contact points ,diameter , flaps position and many others Including Flight Dynamics.. there must be the way to fix this in Aircraft.cfg (Funny nobody complaint about this before) I mostly focus in the creation the 3d shapes ,animations, textures, Gauges and even sounds ,I try to make and airplane easy to flight ,according from what I read ,But to be honest I don't know too much about real life airplanes dynamics ,In fact I have never been on a real airplane in my life and about the FMC ,I didn't make it ,It was Garret Smith ,there is a separated PDF doc of how to use it including his email The only thing I would suggest you its to check the parameters in Aircraft.cfg .. and I have no idea what is EZdok Sorry I can't not be too helpful this time Alex

First and foremost, let me thank you for this wonderful aircraft. I have flown it quite a lot and love every minute of it.
I have one small issue, which might be a bug, or it might just be me. I downloaded specs for the Citation X from Cessna and read that her maximum cruise speed is M 0.91 at 37000 ft in International Standard Atmosphere conditions. So I flew up to 37000 in Clear Skies weather, which says it is "calm winds, standard temperature and pressure". Mach 0.91 seems to be only 300 knots or so at that altitude. Am I doing something wrong?

Milo... mach .91 equaling 300 KIAS at 37000 is accurate. As the air gets thinner, the speed of sound decreases. This is why jets have their maximum speeds listed in both mach number and knots indicated- if you tried to reach 330 knots at 40,000, you would exceed mach 1 and experience structural failure. But if you tried to reach mach .9 at 10,000, you would exceed the plane's maximum indicated airspeed long before you got there. So your maximum speed is BOTH the KIAS number, AND the mach number, whichever happens to be lower at your current altitude, you can't exceed it.

Love this airplane, I can't believe there are people who take the time to create things like this, and then give it away!
Have found one bug though... it bounces when the autopilot is set. Do you think decreasing trim effectiveness would fix this? I'm thinking it's making a small correction, except the smallest correction sends it too far the other way, and then boing-boing-boing for the next several minutes until suddenly it stops, for a few minutes anyway.

I thought I fix that in the new Citation X version Ultra , are you sure you are flying the new version Brian ? I'll take a small flight to check it out

Not sure, what I have is the one I found on Simviation, then I found my way here through the documentation. It is called the "Ultra" package though.

I might Add, to this Conversation comments , that I really think this Cessna Citation X is a great plane !!! Hell, I've seen payware aircraft that were no where good as this and that's no bull, matter of fact, I have one in my sim that I paid for that I've had to totally go in and repaint the entire cockpit ! So I think this Cessna Jet is just - Mighty Fine Alrot, don't give a damn what anybody says ! From De Jetranger !!

Maybe I am just missing the "hotspot" or just blind, but is there a way to change the altimeter setting on the primary MFD? (I do know the backup gauge has a hidden spot on the bottom-left)
-edit- So the STD and calibration knob are on the 2D cockpit, but not the Virtual

Hi Alex. Have read many glowing reports about your Cessna X & have downloaded it. However the version I downloaded had no Throttle/Flap/Spoiler window when I ran it. Looking at the Air.cfg & Panel.cfg files I see it is not included in the Panel.cfg [Windows title] list. Also I have no icons displayed on the panel for GPS, FMC, Throttle, Radio etc. Am I missing something here?

Epa Alejandro!
