Do you know of any tutorials that teach you how to set up 3 views?

It depends on what modeling software you are using.. For Gmax, I just use three, scaled planes.

A good tutorial for Gmax is here:

http://www.simviation.com/gryphon/tutorials/gMax_00.htm

That will get you started :)

Thanks for what looks like a terrific piece of work. However, I cannot find the FSX-SP2_Citation X folder. What do I do wrong?

Thanks,

Theo

I did find the double folder name. However, when I copied it to the aircraft folder I still didn't see the aircraft.

You can't "Copy" anything Just Unzip the folder (make sure you download it here FSND or in Simviation) Find the one is not inside another one, Look for cessna and there it is..

Like this

C:\
........Program Files
..............Microsoft Games
.....................Microsoft Flight Simulator X
.............................SimObjects
.........................................Airplanes
.................................................................FSND_FSX_Citation X_750 carring all below
.................................................................Model
.................................................................textures ,1,2,3
.................................................................sound
.................................................................Aircraft.cfg
.................................................................ETC,ETC...

Alejandro:
I have just(last night) downloaded your Citation X 750 and I LOVE it. I had been trying to use the EagleSoft X but it is a FPS and system killer. Yours is very easy on the FPS. I made two 1.5 hr. flights and it was a thrill.
The only nit I have to pick is: The Red and Green Navigation lights are on the wrong wings. You have the Red one on the Right wing and the Green one on the Left wing. I can't find them in the [Lights] area of the Aircraft CFG so I guess they are in the "Model". Can we get a fix for that?
Thanks
maxsdad

Hi maxsdad

Unfortuanly it can't be change in Aircraft.cfg like any other airplane because the lights are made by using attachpoints of FSX-SDK .
this mean is driven and set inside 3d max ,colors position and switch command can't be modified.
WHY! because the aircraft has Wing Flex FX I don't know why all these lights are driven in Landing lights ,but the modeldef.xml ccan be modified to fix this issue and latter release and update .
all the wing flex FSX model has the same issue (defaults 737, 747, A320 ) has the same command issue :-[

Alejandro:

Thanks for the response. I will look forward to the update when ever you get to it. Like I said, it's only a cosmetic one anyway. I love the airplane anyway. I have now flown it from NYC to Denver and back and am VERY HAPPY with it. I have been waiting for someone to make the CX for a long time and now I don't have to wait anymore.
Thanks
maxsdad
