Nice plane , the new 727
« Thread Started on Mar 13, 2009, 9:59am »

I was looking for a good 727. I found yours.
It is excellent.
Model ,cockpit with VC and sound are all good.
And it flies well also.

One small detail: on the 727, you could se through the wing when the spoilers were up, as you can see on this video

Thanks for your work.

I have also your 707.

I'm glad you like it :)

See, there are missing things ,like the spoiler details ,I never seen a real airplane in all my life (44 YO) ,I just watch Hundred and hundreds of photos in Airliners.net ,looking the most appearance as I can ,Besides this plane its the third edition release ,there's been huge change but I didn't search too much due no buddy told me about the spoilers before ,otherwise I would fix it ,and would save me indeed a mapped area ;D

BTW: watching the video which is scary me ::) I notice also I did a wrong flaps animation too.. :-/

For me those spoiler and flap details are not so important.
The general shape and the Vc are good. That's the main thing.

There are many videos about the 727 on the net.
here is one showing the flaps during take-of:

One of my prefered 727 videos is this one:

Very impressive, the short final in the rain of La Paz!

In the modern big planes, there is nothing scaring. They give a feeling of great security and stability. In the cabin you feel like you are in your living room. You don't realise really the speed and altitude. This is also true for the older ones, like the 727. They were just a bit more noisy.
With the small Cessna's or Pipers it's different. They are also not scaring but while they go much slower and lower ,they are less stable and you realise much more that you are up in the air and flying!

Great Plane, beautifully done VC, but I have one question, on the auto pilot, the clicker on the autothrottle does not work. Any way to fix this?

Can't wait for this one to come out....
I don't know which engines this one is going to come out with.
Will it have animated reverse buckets?
